Nebraska is like a new member in an old club and they are trying to fit in but they keep making suggestions and wanting things that scandalize the old timers. Nebraska just wants to play football but the morons running the conference (with the tacit backing of the rest of the B1G members) keep lifting their skirts and showing everyone where their ballz used to be. This is beyond pitiful that the conference didn't want Nebraska to play a substitute game that had no bearing on the health and safety of the rest of the conference.

2017 vs Georgia Tech and Maine due to Hurricane Irma. One game was replaced by Austin Peay
2018 vs Akron due to a Thunderstorm which was replaced by Bethune Cookman

Apparently, the B1G is voting this morning on allowing the game.

If they refuse the game, it sets up a precedent of tOSU not being able to schedule a game they may need to get into the CFP (espeically if ND goes undefeated).

Collateral damage from all of this is all of the bars and restaurants in Lincoln that were gearing up and looking forward to hopefully making some money finally on a Game Day since COVID shut everything down. Those places are hanging on by a thread to stay open and now this for the 1st home game of the season.
