Solar Eclipse Monday

If the sun sets in the west, why does the eclipse move from southwest to northeast?

Well it was a bright cloudless sunny day here but the overcast is starting to move in. Should be here just in time for the eclipse.

Our solar eclipse in Nebraska is just beginning now 12:40 pm.

Clear skies, but will only about 80% obscurity at it's peak at 1:55 pm Central time.

That'll still be noticeable so curious what my dog and other animals (ducks/geese on the pond) will do.

"And if the band you're in starts playing different tunes..."

for you east coast fucks, whats the best airport in NY to fly into?

It's also annoying with Delta Vacations, I have to select airport trying to find best times.....

There's a total eclipse because the aliens placed the moon in the exact spot for it.

I only use Newark. You'd have to take a train from the airport to Midtown. Never had a flight that started or ended in JFK or LGA.

I usually use Newark also. Never had a start/stop there, always a connection, same with JFK, never used LGA.

FYI, a train from EWR (Newark) to midtown, takes about the same time as a train from JFK to midtown, so if Manhattan is your destination, it's really 6 of 1.

DON’T LOOK TOO LATE BWAHAHAHA!

Went to Philly. Franklin Institute is having a viewing party. We're about a quarter of the way in here.
