@PnkPanther, is this any way for the state that invented the alley-oop, the three-pount shot, and the crossover dribble to play basketball?

Morning all, Arizona has been, uhhh interesting.

I was curious to see my stepdad and how he's doing with Alzheimer's diagnosis. Initially I thought pretty well, outside of briefly forgetting my name when introducing me he seemed fine.

But day didn't finish well, long story short Alzheimer's effects your ability to reason and logic and control emotions and saw all of that when he challenged me to a fight. So that was fun.

And worse part, had to go to church

Thoughts and prayers.

Did you have to go to church because you punched out your stepdad?

That's tough. Dealt with my grandma having it & passing in 2017. The stepkids' grandpa on their sperm donor side has it. He was sent to the hospital a week to 2 weeks ago. They all thought he would go back home, which I knew he wouldn't. He's forced to go to a nursing home after the hospital. Just being civil for the stepkids, but from what my in-laws & wife have told me, he's likely getting justice for his behavior prior to Alzheimers.

He's generally a good guy. Nothing like this has ever happened before or even remotely

Yeah it sounds like he was similar to my grandma. She was always a pacifist type & church goer. Makes it difficult when you know the disease is doing it, as it isn't their personality.

Doesn't help he drinks too much.

Bad combo. I'm hoping today goes smooth, so far he's been quiet which isn't unusual, so not sure if it's his normal routine or he's still sulking.
