The Noon window was historically an awful window of football(minus OSU vs. Mich). From a TV perspective, putting your best game on at 3:30 doesn't make a lot sense because the SEC game is at 3:30. Plus, now Fox has 5 and half hours of straight coverage with their pregame show.

The 3:30 slot is the best slot in football. It’s the perfect balance between fans in attendance/tailgating and TV viewing slots. Noon for Texas is 11am. Silly.

because FOX doesn't want that game to land in the hands of CBS or NBC.. Because if they did that game beats any other game at 3:30 or in primetime that evening. It's dumb, fuck FOX..
Good thing is that when y'all play us again..it will be primetime in Austin in '27
Still gonna make the best of it in September. Me and my friends will head to Ann Arbor all day Friday to take in the school and bar scenes.. We'll miss Gameday on Saturday, tailgate for an hour or so before making the trek into the stadium

I'm not arguing that it's what's best for the fan experience. From a television product, putting it at Noon makes the most sense. Big Noon kickoff games get crazy tv ratings.
