I agree. I wish they were still around. Most of the stuff I bought from there were things like glasses, pillows, sheets, etc, that I'd like to put my hands on before purchasing. I'm not even sure where to go for that shit now.
Seems like those places are far and few between with online shopping now. Not even questioning my manhood here but I enjoyed just browsing the place because I could always find something for the house

Reminds me of the time I went to see Nazareth in Canton. They played two songs. Love Hurts and Hair of the Dog and this was the REAL Nazareth

they got bought up by Overstock.com when they declared bankruptcy...so they exist online still but no brick and mortar stores
And therein lies the rub. As our esteemed compadre @SlinkyRedfoot said, there is still a need for brick and mortar places to actually look at the items before buying

Point taken. However a couple of years ago Target was selling clothes specifically targeted (pun intended) for LGBTQ people. I think they backed off because of negative pub.

it's a pride collection...it isn't being sold specifically targeting LGBTQ people...it was in support of them
