Morning all.


Heading home, fun times but looking forward to being in my house. Four days would've been enough


Saw Seth Meyers last night, prepping for his Netflix special which he's filming Saturday in Chicago, so that was cool.. Small comedy club so we were only feet away from stage. Was good show

Off to Newark in an hour

For as much as people like to hate on that airport, it's one of the more convenient ones to get to via public transit.

Well the Newark airport Express let me down. We were at bus stop sign. Bus stopped half block away, thought no big deal they'll stop at the official stop, they didn't.

Another couple and us waited 30 minutes, no signs so we agreed to split a Lyft.

By split we paid 60% and we sat in the 3rd row, but worked out eventually

Could also have walked down to Madison Square Garden and got on an NJ Transit train to the airport.

And their fullfilling their debt to society doesn't create an emergency on my part.

That's what wed do in future but Mrs pnk was getting anxious about time so. Id use Newark again, just not bus. We took train into Manhattan which worked well except lugging luggage around and up and down stairs.


Didn't think bus would be such an issue but read reviews with people similar experiences, of course not until after.

Looks like people have had issues getting refunds so I'll dispute the charge I guess.

There's also escalators to all the tracks and up to the street at NYC.
 
They won't refund me
No surprise. The bus was there... I'm not disputing that, I'm just not counting driving by the stop as there
 
But I'll deal with trains over guessing if bus will stop at actual stop or one half block away and expect me to run with luggage
 
My refund request has been escalated.

Most of it should have been done before today. It was definitely a let someone else do my work for me situation. My work is done at least and I made sure the last time they didn't have any of my stuff to deal with. Guess they don't do the same.
