Bronny James will not return to college.

LeBron James' oldest son will stay in the NBA Draft, Klutch Sports CEO Rich Paul told ESPN. The former USC guard had also entered the transfer portal to keep his college eligibility open, but that is now off the table. His path forward is to the NBA.

To make matters even more interesting, Paul informed ESPN that Bronny will not sign a two-way contract. That means he'll only agree to a deal that keeps him in the NBA as a rookie.


Congrats Lakers you will make a mockery out of your sport and take an opportunity away from someone who deserves it.
 
Lakers not only wasted a pick on him, now give him a 4/$8m contract. Lebron just keeps inventing new ways to fuck teams over.
 
It's the NBA's fault.

Even before Cleveland drafted LeBron, LeBron was called 'King' and treated him like a king. The NBA has served "King" James' every whim since before he was even an adult. Today they continue by hiring a LeBron ball washer as his coach and raping players who have worked hard for a chance to play in the NBA in favor of allowing the King to play ball with his spoiled undeserving "prince".

Yup, then Lebron said he would take less money to help the team build around him. All the top FA's said "nah thanks, you are cancer" and now he is saying he will take every last penny he can get from them.

Love a graphic I saw where Bronny was drafted but had 1/4th the stats another USC player did, and that kid went undrafted. If not for his name, Bronny would be working in an Amazon warehouse right now.

And Lebron isn't going to go easy, either. He's going to leave the Lakers in a year or two and sign with some team under the force of "sign Bronny too or else I won't sign". And some team looking for eyeballs, like Charlotte, will jump at it.

Or hell, he may go fill Jordan and become an owner of a team and then sign Bronny and the next one.

That kid was a second or thrid string bench player in college. No way does he have NBA level talent. This is a cruel joke. I would have let LeBron go (he's over the hill anyway) - not drafted his spoiled brat kid - and use his ridiculous salary savings to rebuild. FUBAR.
