I was in the 4th of July local parade here some years ago with my 1967 Chevelle (long since sold). It was like 108 like it will be today. I thought it would be a quick run through, ended up more like 40 minutes just to get synched into the parade. Barely made it and the thing nearly overheated. A few other muscle cars did. Never again. Just staying home and bbqing burgers and drinking a lot of Caipirinha's...great for hot weather today.I may be in the minority here but fireworks just don't do anything for me. Kind of like a parade, you have seen one, you've seen 'em all

It just seems different lately. Growing up it seemed like everyone fired them off on the same day & time. Growing up it was awesome as you could have a 360 view of fireworks. Now it's not the case. Plus my parents put up a new barn that makes it harder to get a 360 view.I may be in the minority here but fireworks just don't do anything for me. Kind of like a parade, you have seen one, you've seen 'em all
Woot. Look out, people! Mormons in the house!
