For some of the other folks, anyway. I decided to use the day to get caught up, since we left for vacation on Thursday.

Had a good vacation in NH. Took the train up to the top of Mt. Washington, Tank was happier than a pig in shit. Taught Ham how to skip rocks, went to a couple of local swimming holes, and also got to spend some time with my brother. Even got an hour out of the house with my wife.

Baseball game tonight, party at my cousin's tomorrow, not sure what we're doing Sunday yet. Might just find something in the freezer to defrost and throw on the smoker.
 
Nope, I am still working today.

I did have yesterday off however

Well even the pros mess up. A barge in Marblehead, MA (I believe that's where) caught on fire from the fireworks
 
Not sure what the plan is for the weekend. Working today, & probably do some work this weekend to try & get loans out of my pipeline. They're exploding even though the rates are shit. I don't get it. Probably be cleaning up the garage for Lil W's birthday party next weekend. Weather depending on Sunday, I'll start taking my 4.6 mile walk again.

the future FIL and his wife are visiting. They got in yesterday. I smoked some ribs, we picked some crabs. Didn't go watch fireworks.

I am working today but it looks to be a lighter load...at least it looks that way at the moment

We went to Six Flags to watch the fireworks. Getting out of the parking lot was an absolute shit show. I don't recall it being that awful last year. Next year if we do it we're just going to sit in the car until the line clears out.

Seems like a lot of events lately getting in has been pretty good but getting out has been a shit-show for sure

Supposed to be heading to Cancun Sunday, so far sounds like Beryl didn't do too much damage. I was watching it last night and was surprised to see it jump back up to Cat3 and then jump north to put cozumel directly in its path.

It's usually a mess anyway, because there's only a couple of exits out of the lot onto the main road, but then every asshole in the parking lot is trying to get as far along as humanly possible to get to the front of the line, and then some shitheads started cutting through an opening in the trees, and then people were almost forcing my car to go through there.

Going to see more fireworks tonight, at least the baseball stadium has better exits and usually has cops to manage traffic flow out.

Yeah and of course they cut you off and don't give a flying you know what. I have nearly gotten drilled heading out of the Gillette Parking lot I couldn't even tell you how many times

I hear you there. I hate going to HS football & other events at that level anymore with crowds. Why I do college, pro/minors very rarely as well. Much more convenient to watch at home.
 
Working from home a little here and there. Doing while my feet are in the pool, so all good.

Looks like it. Flights are flying and the resort sounds like it is still open. Maybe a lot of people won't go and we will have the whole place to ourselves. I'd be cool with that.
