In truth, although I'm not afraid of spiders, I'll admit it would startle the fuck out of me, maybe even scare me, at first, then I'd just laugh my ass off!

Just took out one of those wall mounted space heaters in my bedroom. I think i'm going to convert the wiring over from 240v to 120v and put in one of those digital fireplaces.

So to convert the 240v circuit to 120v I would just go in the panel, move one of the hots to the neutral, reinstall the other hot to a single pole breaker, then I'm good right?

If there isnt any other neutral already, yes.
