I hear ya, loud and clear. 1st marriage was every groom's nightmare. I laws had money and pull. Big church wedding. I paid for the rehearsal dinner. Just 40 of our "closest" friends. 450 at the reception. Surf and turf. Fuck. Lasted 3 years.
2nd we went to the judge and took the folks out afterwards. Less than $200.
So far, 44 years and counting.

My buddy married his HS sweetheart 20 years and 2 marriages for her later. Blew a bunch of money on her 3rd wedding and still to this day live in the house her ex left her in her first divorce
So he fucks her in the same bedroom 2 ex dudes fucked her in.

Ah this marriage & divorce talk reminds me that one of my good buddies is having a kid with his 2nd wife. Feel like I was one of the last he told. His 1st wife was the sister of our good friend that passed from cancer. The divorce was a bit before the cancer diagnosis and it made things awkward. I was Switzerland neutral about the divorce. The families had been friends but got nasty. I think talking to either side made me a bad guy up until the diagnosis & then passing. Now I hardly hear from either. Still have our photo together from the 1st wedding as my screen saver as it was the last time all 3 of us were able to be together as friends. My other buddy was missing, but he probably played it right & didn't talk to either side for the entirety.

I have a family member who got the big expensive vacation getaway wedding on the beach - the big expensive 4 bedroom house and and the big expensive 5 seater luxury SUV (even though they only have 2 kids) - and then ran out on the person who worked long hours for years to give all of that to them the second money got tight.
Ran away with another sucker to go on expensive vacations with while the person and the kids they left are at home.
Theres a few lessons in here.

Oh forgot to mention my anger last night. We had our township 4H meeting last night and the township building & diamonds technically go together. We haven't had any teams for a few years due to low number of kids. I get there for the building, and a team from another town is practicing on the main diamond. Parked in front of the doors of the building & etc. I park between the idiots & unlock the building. Technically I have the diamonds since I booked the building. Going to ask trustee, but guessing they just showed up to practice in pouring rain not to ruin one of their 20 or so diamonds from their city. These kids don't even live in the same school district that the township is in. They definitely aren't going to fix the diamond they muddled up either. I need to get that Bad News Bears team up & go kick some ass!

These fuckers are from the same school as our problem school in tackle football. Also same ones that kicked the flag football kids out from our school & township they just used. Also some were kids that made my cousin N1's oldest son Big E stop playing baseball because he was doing both baseball & wrestling. Yet those scumbags were doing the same thing at their own wrestling club. Our little school whipped their ass (3x bigger than us) in football so bad they quit playing us. Also why they tried to join a different tackle league so we wouldn't be able to play. Funny part is we were invited before them but waited to join until they pulled their crap.
