I went to a Cotton Bowl that kicked at 10 am. I had breakfast, went to the game, had a blast and watched the rest of the games (Sugar and Fiesta) from my hotel room. Win, Win, Win!

It just seems puzzling to start A football game at 9am. Just. My opinion but I was shocked.

I definitely get that. But they can play it at 3 eastern noon pacific, or find a 7pm eastern slot Before the east coast eyes close. But 9am? That’s different

Call Larry Scott! lol. 3 Eastern, Noon Pacific goes against the CBS SEC Game of Week and a major B1G or Big Xii Game on ABC or Fox. They are trying to get Easterners to watch Pac Football, not make Pac fans enjoy their day! It's a bit early, but at least they are thinking outside he box, and it beats the hell out of a late, late game. At least the traffic will be lighter getting to the early kickoff. Angelinos will definitely like that!

I just looked at it and it makes more sense. They have games staggered over 4 time slots kicking at 11, 3, 6, 6:30 and 9:30 X 2 Central. They wanted to S-T-R-E-T-C-H the day. Not a bad idea!

As far as the TV scheduling aspect goes, getting on at Noon ET, is a MUCH better time slot than playing at 3:30 ET, or 8:00 ET, then anything after that you're getting very little viewership.

Don’t agree it’s it’s the best time slot for Viewership considering more games are on at noon. But I do agree This is a good time to give it a test run If it’s going to happen.
