During the 1912 presidential campaign, Theodore Roosevelt was shot by an assassin. While wounded in the chest, Roosevelt survived and actually went on to deliver an abbreviated version of his speech.

Donald Trump, while campaigning is shot but survives.

Roosevelt was shot in Milwaukee. Trump is heading to Milwaukee.

I am not saying something will happen to Trump. The similarities are just crazy.

Both of can take a seat to Andrew Jackson, who nearly beat his would be assassin to death with his cane, and would have finished the job is he wasn’t restrained

Would’ve saved rope.

We need a new Rocky movie where Rocky beats the fucking piss out of some blue haired tranny dude played by Ellen or something to restore American pride.

Great, however if I wanted to write about Andrew Jackson I would have. He has no relevance to this

The crazy part about that was the gun misfired twice. When they tested them afterwards, they worked perfectly fine.

we have a politics board. Go talk about it there
I wasn't really thinking politics. It was more about the coincidence historically

Even pistols knew to be afraid of Old Hickory
Well he did have a bullet lodged in him for most of his adult life after a duel.

That duel itself was controversial. He misfired his first shot and fired again (and killed the guy), which apparently is against the dueling code.

In any event, the dude lived a crazy life and really changed the course of politics for most of the mid 1800s.

I heard he invented battle boxes

And he’d definitely be a Braves fan if he were alive today

So I just moved around some of the letters you wrote.

Says to get coffee and take a few tokes.

Freaked me out pretty bad so I'll be back in a bit.
