Soooo how was everyone's weekend Monday?

ugh I can't delete mine. Sorry, Chickie. Didn't expect anyone to start a thread this morning.

weekend was good. Did some kayaking and took the dog to the beach yesterday.

hot weather alert here so no work allowed in the plant until Wednesday.

I think we have a photographer and maybe a florist lined up.

the fiance asked her cousin to be a bridesmaid and after initially saying yes, she is considering backing out because her daughter (my fiance's second cousin) is not a bridesmaid...which makes no sense. The girl is being asked to do a reading.

basically the cousin is holding the bridesmaid role hostage and won't do it unless her daughter is also a bridesmaid.

I said we need to uninvite the whole family.
 
Drove by the @SlinkyRedfoot compound yesterday on my way to Trader Joe's. He had his kids dumping their snow cones on the front lawn in an attempt to go skiing

It was kind of sad

I met the cousin for the first time at Thanksgiving last year and heard a lot of stories about her...so she's just living up to who she is, I guess.

It's the silliest thing I have ever heard. She doesn't want her daughter left out of the wedding party even though my fiance doesn't have a close relationship with the girl

I shouldn't be, but still surprised at the level of pettiness that the womenz can display when it comes to weddings. Short of her running off at the last minute the only detail I cared about was what Mrs. Chicken had on under the wedding dress
