Spit on that Thursday

Morning all

Lawn bowling tonight.

Neighbor is dog sitting another neighbors dog, dog broke free this morning and I got to help with the chase. Now I'm out of breath, thought I had him cornered twice but little shit. I finally got him after he ran under gap into a fenced yard, I went back there and he finally gave up
 
Apparently, according to the Internet, this is our "crystal" anniversary, and the modern trend is to gift each other watches.

I bought beer and chocolate. Might pick something out of my stash ( :rip: gobucks) and drink out of our champagne flutes from our wedding.

This does give me an idea though, maybe for 20 I should get engraved beer glasses of some sort.

we don't do much for anniversary, we just save money for gifts and put it towards trips

We did our 5th anniversary trip a year early, because we were planning on trying to have kids once I finished grad school. I think that was our only "big" anniversary attempt. We'd normally try and do a dinner out, but even then it's just our usual beer bar type places. This year, since it's soccer camp week, we're having a romantic dinner of a heat and eat pasta dish.

Our anniversary was last month.

But today is my wife's birthday so it's rinse and repeat.
 
no plans after work today...likely working on the wedding website.

got us a new Le Creuset from our registry. I didn't realize those things were that $$$

Funny you mention our departed friend. Perhaps we should designate a @gobucks Day and make it an annual HN holiday?
