I didn’t get the “charm” at all of Wrigley. Parking was a shit show, sight lines are just stupid. Walking in and noticing that like the back ten rows can see about 25% of the field was wild. We sat second deck down the first base line and it’s still like watching the game at a dumb angle.

It’s not even that it’s old that I hated it, I liked Kaufmann, Angels Stadium and Dodger Stadium. Wrigley is just a complete shithole.
I didn't even think to park anywhere near there. Stayed downtown and took the red line.

Dumbass.

The furthest back rows in the lower bowl of the Trop the upper bowl seats while it won't block the field at all might be a little distracting but otherwise you're not gonna get anything close to Wrigley bad when it comes to obstructions. I took an Uber there which was fine but I've heard driving there yourself can be a pain depending on where you're coming from.

Biggest thing to know is one side of home plate is all even number sections and the other side is all odd, doesn't just go ascending order for whatever reason. Didn't see the parking situation but it's gotta be better than Wrigley because it quite frankly can't get worse than that.

Last weekend, the boss, mrs. boss & baby boss went to go on a bike ride so he pulled the trailer out of the garage to pack it in her car. Noticed there were a couple of cobwebs on it so he gets the shopvac out and eliminates the threat. They're driving along and mrs. boss sees a spider in the car. She hops out of her seat and into the backseat (he says it was some kind of weird alien abduction shit), then spies another one in the backseat, so hops back to the front, whacking him in the back of the head in the process. They pull over, pull out the offending trailer, deal with it, whatever. She is freaked out, naturally and is having a meltdown, justified, of course. He comes into the office on monday and tells me this story and asks what can be done, so i say, "It's quite simple - you just need to burn it to the ground." Hardy-har-har, he says. So I tell him that he can get it detailed and make them used citrus scented crap because spiders hate citrus. Or you can burn it to the ground.

He just texted me that he has to leave early because his wife doesn't have her car. She sold it.

People bitch about Tampa traffic but it was absolutely nothing to me. Miami and god fucking forbid Minnesota are way worse, so getting there won’t be an issue to me. I also have no problem paying to park, so I’m good there. There’s just fucking NO parking “at” Wrigley. “Park anywhere in the neighborhood!!!!” Yea, randomly park in front of some dudes house in Chicago, maybe get towed maybe not, get fukt.

Then there was supposed to be some shuttle from some shitty warehouse. We drove to that location and it was clear it wasn’t going on. A shit load of other people were also driving around in the lot. Called the Cubs “oh yea we’re not doing that today”

Fuck you cubs, fuck you!

Weird numbering of seats doesnt bother me, I actually sort of love it. Watching people’s inability to look at a seating chart and navigate numbers and letters is one of my guilty pleasures at sporting events.

Driving to Wrigley is literally just finding random neighborhood lots and hoping you don't get stuck paying $40 to walk a mile-ish (which that part I wouldn't mind but fuck paying that much).

I've never done it but it actually does seem quite miserable to do. I play softball on Saturday mornings and my drive home would normally take me right by where a lot of people would park as they're arriving for the Saturday afternoon games and I always go out of my way to avoid it because of how bad traffic can get backed up.
