anyways

front lawn got mowed yesterday. Thought the mower might be toast...the blade wasn't engaging all the way. Got under it, tightened that bolt up, good to go. I say it every year, but this might be this push mower's last hurrah.

Phillies game started too late for me to watch last night...watched an episode of The Bear and Under the Bridge instead.

Got a little rain yesterday afternoon so may try to get my lawn done this afternoon. I left for work yesterday at 7:30ish. Roofers were working on a house behind me. I went out for a run at 8 pm and they were STILL at it!

a little downpour came through right after I finished mowing...so that was nice. Took the dog for a walk around the neighborhood after...could have made it into a run, I suppose.

the backyard though...she needs some love.

Friday I began mowing my disc golf course and snapped the mower belt. Sunday I bought a replacement belt and began installing it - only to find out that the belt didn't actually snap, it just popped way off track and got twisted underneath one of the pulley covers. ...Now I have a new belt ready whenever it does actually snap.

Afternoon all. Sunday Grand showed a sheep for mini 4H & then my cousin showed a dairy beef steer & showmanship and did ok. My cousins also did cats & small animals where they did very well.

Monday Grand did the mini 4H goat & starter calf show. Then Dodger & Bossy did the starter calf show. Dodger finished towards bottom of her class but Bossy won her class & division. She went out for top 5 overall but just missed. She then tried showmanship & did ok. Dodger should have done showmanship but was frustrated as cattle is her passion not Bossy's.

Today Grand did mini pig show while Bossy & Buck did regular. Bossy 3rd in class & Buck last in 5th. Tonight we do the parade & tomorrow dairy & rabbits to end it.

This is my life lol. I only own & keep the rabbits at my place in town. My brother has the hogs at my parents' house. My parents bought the starter calves & normally keep them for freezer beef so they can show dairy beef steers. This year they're just selling them as freezers are full. Though my brother wants to buy them. The dairy, sheep, & goats are all others that let Grand show in mini. He's fell in love with sheep. However my dad is getting dairy heifers like he had as a kid instead. Lil W is like my mom & sister in law that loves horses. She's going to have to find someone to show for on that AZ they're $$$$.
