well the refs should definitely get more credit for one of those steeler wins....

My favorite part is that one of those teams hasn't been around as long as the rest. Sadly that same team hasn't done shit in the last 20 years. Still up there with the top winners though. :dhd:

Umm, I think you are talking about the Cowboys, but bro, the NE Patriots were founded the same year, so no, TWO of those teams haven't been around as long, but that makes no difference, since this is Super Bowl Wins, not NFL Championships. And in that, only the Seahawks, Bucs, Panthers, Jags, Ravens and Texans are disadvantaged as you thought you proposed.

No, I stand by my statement. An expansion team jumping into the league and winning right out of the gate is pretty awesome.

Wrong there too. ELEVEN years later is not right out of the gate, so no awesome. I'd give you "not bad".

We were in the SB in year 8, took us 3 more to win one.

Poor Cardinals, robbed of their glory, so this thread could be made.

If you then add the Redskins and Raiders with three each, that graph gets even more lopsided.

The one over Seattle??

That was my favourite Pitt SB win. I thought Fats Holmgren was going to stroke out..

And the Cowboys needed that crotchety old fuckwad Don Shula and his Blind Melon QB to cough up a hair ball to make it happen.

Don't get me wrong, I was a huge Roger Staubach fan at the time, not so much the walking fedora, but beating the one dimensional shit bums from Miami was no great accomplishment.
