I always hate to see these summer injuries. Every year it seems some major star gets taken out before the season starts and you just hope it's not someone on your team. Super sucks for this kid.

Well, it makes sense you are an Auburn fan. I am not FOS ... I hate injuries unless, it appears, it happens to an Auburn loser. Goodness knows we have had our share of injuries over the years, so I hate them. And as Maze said above I hate the pre-season injuries ... what a blow for the kid.
We're barely into August and both Dallas and Texas have lost a key player for the season.
Not a new thing, especially for Dallas. Really grown to hate the preseason.

FWIW.. they were optimistic since it wasn't an ACL tear.. but he had 2 other tears.. PCL and something else

funny thing is.. Blue was going to get a lot of carries regardless.. just the way Baxter/Brooks then Brooks/Blue worked out a year ago before Brooks got hurt late in the season.. So I expect Wisner to see much more carries.. and one of Gibson/Clark to emerge as true freshmen.
Meh, just chunk it all over the field. Make the games 6 hours long. Wears out their defense (wears yours out too) screws up the television schedule for the day, gets your rusty cows tons of air time and makes even more fans hate you than already do. Win all the way around.
If Ewers arm becomes rubberized, then the golden boy comes in. Another win!

Baxter is toast. I had a tear in my ACL years ago and it hurt like a SOB. He's barely getting around right now unless he's taking something that makes him feel like he's the queen of France. Hate to hear it; he's a good player.

he didn't tear his ACL.. he tore his PCL.. they brought an expert on a UT morning show.. he said that PCLs aren't bad.. players have a 85% chance to return to what they were prior to the tear.. compared to 65% of players that return to what they were prior to an ACL tear
