morning

got to use my new buffer to wax one of the cars last night...worked nicely and saved my arms a lot of unnecessary work.

unfortunately I didn't get to use it on my truck...that will have to wait for this weekend.
 
Morning. Had a day off yesterday for employee appreciation day. Took Ham to her day camp and Tank to his swim lesson, then cleaned the house for a bit. Went to Six Flags when Ham came home, rode two coasters with Ham and then took Tank on a couple of kiddie rides.
 
Morning. Just in frustration mode. I guess what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. See if I die or get stronger. The old man cut his fingers at work yesterday. Having surgery today on one. Trying to get football issues straightened out. Just too much crap going on anymore as well keeping up at work.
 
morning all, lawn bowling team finally got the W. We have fallen apart as a team, I think we've won league 3 straight sessions and we'll be close to last if not last in standings

from first to worst, I'll be selling the movie rights

Was 6 flags the EAD destination or do they just let you take the day off and do whatever you want? We do the same boring ass picnic at the same place every year.

No, it was just my family. EAD is a free day to do whatever.
 
Apparently Tank is now cooperating with tWife at his swim lesson. I got multiple texts that he was being a little asshole, and got on two video calls to talk to him. No updates since my last call.

He eventually decided to get with the program. He's a stubborn little asshole unless "he" wants to do something. For all the things my wife is, she isn't stubborn enough to beat him at his game.

a friend of mine texted me last night saying her long time boyfriend left her...

they had a very nice relationship...but part of it always felt empty to me...like best friends who happened to share an intimate space together.

they never planned on getting married or anything.

but he just decided last night that he was done...or needed a break.

I have no idea how to respond to texts like that
