This'll come around and have a college football connection, but felt this was more broad of a topic that the Locker Room was a good place to ask this. Since COVID 2020 has anyone else's perception of time just been completely thrown off? Or remembrance of time completely thrown off? Like things that felt like 2 years ago were actually 7 years ago? Or things you felt were 8 years ago were actually just 3 years ago?

It's really weird. But for instance, on the CFB board I'm complaining about GT vs FSU in week 0. But then I remembered GT played Tennessee in either a week 0 or opening weekend game. To me this game felt like it was 3 years ago, maybe a 2021 game. No, it was 2017! Not only that, but the uniforms just 7 years ago look so dated compared to today's version of uniforms. To me 7 years hasn't aged that much but looking back at old games from 2017 it's almost ancient! Wtf.

Time is just weird. I don't know if this has to do with the whole weird COVID thing or if this is just a product of aging and getting older in life.

Welcome to the club, oldtimer.
Is that what it is? Things that seemed like 2 years ago were actually 6 years ago? Time does fly by and it really puts into perspective of how short life is even if you're blessed to have a typical average lifespan avoiding illnesses.

The older you get, the more it compresses. The best part, though, is that you learn to make every moment count.

Who didn't see that coming?

The OP needs him some dark side of the moon.

Well you run and you run to catch up to the sun but it's sinking,

Racing around to come up behind you again.

There is significance in the passage of time. Think about that. Time is significant and its passage holds tremendous significance.
You need to "unburden" your "burdens"... THAT is the real "significance"...

Why complain about a week 0 game?

Every year is getting shorter

The civil war ended in 1865 or so ww2 ended in 1945. 80 years difference

It’s been 79 years since ww2.

Time for something else?
