USC is playing this Saturday at 9AM

That is noon, Ohio time. I would gladly trade our 7:30 time slot with them. do they want to play on the B1G network?

Well, it's a faulty opinion.

It won't get viewership if it's not on FOX/ABC, dumbass.
Why the fuck not dumbfuck? You are still putting it on at noon eastern and have a chance to get eyes, a lot of which will be closed at 10:30 eastern.

It depends. For the most viewership, it would need to be on a major network. So, Fox, ABC, NBC, ESPN. But, if it's on the PAC-12 Network, CBSSN, NBCSN or something like that and starting at 9am...they aren't getting quite the bump in viewership because a lot of homes don't have those channels. They may get a little more viewership at that time, but that would mostly be people who would watch a team on those channels later in the day anyway.

Obviously I’m arguing ESPN/ESPN 2 or even FS1 is still getting you some viewership. The idea it has to be on ABC/FOX to get viewership is Retarded.

Michigan State had to play a west coast team where the game started at 10:30pm. To me it’s the same difference. The game didn’t end until after 2:00am.

Guess I’m in the minority, but I definitely think there is a biological clock different between playing at 9am and playing a few hours later. Look at the record of west coasts teams in both levels coming east and playing a noon game. It’s usually not good.
but were there more than normal injuries? that was the argument made

Why would programming on a lower-tier network not get enough viewership to make it worthwhile? Are you really asking this question?

Getting a small amount of viewership isn't worthwhile.

Pretty sure Hawaii didn’t have any extra injuries from playing at 6am against Michigan a few years ago.
