Wow, can't believe they didn't call targeting on that. Some home cookin' going on

Man, MSU looks even shittier than I thought they would.

He sees how Detroit Lions fans love Big Balls Dan Campbell and wants to try and mimic him. Too bad MSU is straight trash.
If he can get to a bowl, be a fantastic season all things considered but he needs to make smarter decisions.

Yes it’s FAU but their defense hasn’t been awful.

Offense has a few weapons but the line is not where it needs to be atm.

Yeah...this conference is going to come down to OSU and Oregon.

Pathetic showings elsewhere

Let's go owls!!

That turnover on downs instead of taking the FG is putting a lot of unnecessary pressure on this defense now.

The football gods do not like it when you pass on easy/early FG’s and sometimes they make you pay for it.

Spartans are punks

I contribute that to MSU just being awful on offense. I don't expect FAU to be good on defense. Maybe they will surprise me but they were awful on defense last year.

FAU's QB is terrible.

Was anyone expecting anything from MSU? Everyone had them as the last placed team in the conference.

Connor Cook was the QB the last time MSU’s offense wasn’t dear god awful.

@Across The Field was somewhat high on Sparty this year. His logic made sense, but if the QB plays like he does tonight, that's not really an upgrade from last year.

I certainly underestimated the time it would take for them to come together as a unit it would seem. Chiles looked significantly more impressive last season than he did last night. I get he was the backup in 2023 but when you see 24/35, 309 yards with 4 TD/0 INT, with another 3 TD on the ground, you expect to see someone look at least a little more prepared than he was. I still think he's going to be a good QB but not as quickly as I initially expected.

It doesn’t matter how much time you give them when that unit is straight trash.

MSU might be the worst team in the Conference. Them or Northwestern.

IMO.
