Scenario: True 1?

thanks man.. probably hit that or the moms spaghetti first for lunch when I land thursday morning :)
Absolutely … I would tell you to have a great time, but you probably coming here to root against Michigan 😂 … so, may you have a good time, and Ann Arbor has a lot of bars to go to for a consolation drink.

so my other friend is flying in with his family on friday.. so the guy with me wants to hit up some live morning shows in AA that morning, then we are going to meet up with my other friend at some brewery place that's suppose to be historical or something? Only thing i don't like is the weather.. was hoping for 80 degree weather.. not the high of 63.. :(

In this scenario Texas would almost assuredly jump Ohio State. Only way I could see Ohio State staying ahead of Texas in that case would be if they were blowing everyone out, including Oregon by like 30+ points. Even then I'd have to say the jump would happen
I mean, we do also have to go to Penn State, who actually has a pulse offensively and will almost assuredly be a top 10 team at the end of the year.

Speaking of a pulse offensively, we also have Nebraska and Iowa on the schedule.

We wouldn't play Penn State until after this scenario

The Jagged Fork for breakfast was good.

And that Krazy Jim’s Blimpee Burger was cheap but decent.

Buddy's Pizza ... that is where Detroit Style Pizza is the best. There is one in Ann Arbor (a very respectable woman), I have never been to that one, I'm from the East Side of Detroit.

Buddy's is outstanding... but... if you are an eastsider, then you should know about Loui's on Dequindre just north of 9 Mile in Hazel Park. Loui's was established by one of the original Buddy's partners who actually improved upon Buddy's.

Cloverleaf on Gratiot just south of 10 Mile in Eastpointe is pretty darn good too.

BD Mongolian Grille has always been a great place.

Doubt it. Status quo warriors gonna status quo.

The rankings have definitely gotten more fluid with the addition of the CFP than they used to be. I think the two voting polls want to try to reflect how the committee actually does it.

It used to be you didn't get jumped unless you lost.

Which is the outlandish part? That Texas beats OU and UGA or that tOSU beats Duck?
For your scenario to play out, all 3 would need to happen.

Plus, Nebraska will beat tOSU because of the pigs flying part.

But…
If your scenario plays out, I think UT should be #1.

I've heard the Moms Spaghetti place is super sub-par. I think you'd have a better time hitting up one of the original Coney places in Detroit vs. that.

But I would recommend, for breakfast, hitting up a place called Iggy's Eggies; they have two locations, one is in Detroit and one is downtown Ann Arbor. Absolutely the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had.

OMG I saw the weather and got super pumped. You'll finally get to experience true fall football weather lol. It's going to be sunny, crisp and awesome.

I'm curious what brewery is historical? In Ann Arbor?

RIP mongolian (closed in the last couple years or so abruptly -- apparently there was building problems?)

Tons of better places for breakfast than Jagged Fork -- super overpriced and average. For breakfast I'd either do Iggy's Eggies (which is more of a quick serve) or drive out to Zingerman's Roadhouse (but I think they open later and it's more of a brunch). Or drive out of downtown and hit Anna's House, which is out by 94 (and a lot of the hotels); which might actually be perfect if you're staying around town.

But yes, Blimpee is a great pick if you're here for lunch.

Yep. The common assumption was the initial rankings were correct as long as the teams won. Didn't seem to factor in who they were winning those games against. One would think now that LSU and A&M would get more credit for their losses last week than the wins by Ole Miss, Arkie, Mizzou, etal.

I think that Nebraska is the most interesting team in the NCAA. It is very possible that you can be undefeated going into Columbus.
