They have their place, like if you’re going to be by the pool or the beach or need to throw something on for a quick trip to the store on a weekend morning before you’ve fully started your day. But as an everyday choice of footwear, no.

No joke, you should try those ones I linked. I'll check the info from when I ordered them, they are the only slide/sandal I've worn that have a high arch. And they are slip proof (confirmed around my pool MANY times) and float.
