First time they've been ranked in the AP since Sept 3rd of 2019 when they were ranked #25 after Week 1.

They lost @ Colorado (31-34) the following week and haven't seen the Top 25 since.

Polls are so dumb. How can anyone justify ND ahead of NIU or Miami at 10?

Or Oregon in the top 10. I get working shit out early in the season, and having them highly ranked in the pre-season. But nothing about their first two games says "top 10."

What?...no first place votes for Alabama...I thought these guys didn't watch the games?

True, if the Oregon coaching staff isn't purposefully sandbagging the first few games then they are probably in for a painful inaugural season.

2nd half Oregon adjusted well to BSU blitzes.

Need to eliminate penalties and turnovers going forward

Most of the voters probably didn't get to see the game since it was on a putrid Peacock only stream. :tsk:

Yep. I stopped into a local dive bar on my way home last night and the Oregon game wasn't on. They don't get Peacock and nobody in there had a Peacock account they could stream from their phone to the tv's. It's basically a sports bar with 5 tv's going.

Mind you there's typically someone in there to stream local high school football games, rodeos, tractor pulls, etc.

I have ESPN+ on my HULU account so back in June I logged into it to stream the Nebraska/Florida NCAA baseball regional in there because the bar doesn't have ESPN+.

So far Nebraska's not scheduled for 'Exclusive' Peacock, but they've only scheduled out to Week 3. I think they'll eventually get scheduled if they keep winning though.

Under NBC contract, the Big 10 has to have 9 games in 2024 that are Peacock 'Exclusive".

Here's Week 3 'Exclusive' Peacock.

Okay, so according to this poll, Southern Cal beat the #16 LSU team. Wouldn't they have the current resume to be higher than Penn State, Oregon, and a couple others? Don't even get me started on Northern Illinois being behind Notre Dame. As the season progresses, maybe. But in this poll, nope.

For so many years I have prayed to thee football gods that Nebraska could be ALMOST as good as Clemson and now those prayers have been finally answered!!!!!

nice wow wow wee wow GIF
