The Napier Gone Talk Is BIG!!!

Honestly, 1984 is still not very good for a team that has played football for as long as UF has.

To be clear, I was being very complimentary of your academics. Just wondering if the emphasis on that will turn you more into a Michigan than UGA/Bama/tOSU.

Lots to clean up, but you have natural advantages that should make the last 15 years not happen.
No I understand where you're coming from and we appreciate the compliments. As far as our football history goes it is what it is. We absolutely take academics seriously and that will continue to be a thing. However, we are one of the not so many programs that actually make money on football. That isn't going to change, we aren't delusional anymore than any other fan base. We turned our corner in 1979 and now expect to at least compete for a national title. Even if we don't win one every year we want to be in the equation. I'm sure after Georgia goes 3-9, 5-4 or similar now that you've won a NC recently your fanbase will expect a certain level of performance and will be the same way. What our problem is, is they hired Strickland from MS st and he has no experience hiring really anyone of a top tier level other than Mullen. We need an AD with a good track record of hires.. like when we had Jeremy Foley.

The ex? The current GF is not:

Sally Rychlak has been working as a Major Gifts Officer at Southern Methodist University since August 2022. Before this, she worked as a Development Officer for the School of Pharmacy at the University of Mississippi from May 2019. She also worked at Pure Barre, Oxford, as a fitness instructor for nearly four years until July 2022.

As far as her education goes, it is reported that she earned her bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Mississippi with a major in Marketing (2015-2019). During her last year of the course, she interned at the University of Mississippi development office, which she later joined in a full-time role. Her LinkedIn profile indicates that she was an active student at Ole Miss, as she participated in various activities, including the cheerleading team for Ole Miss, indicating her interest in football. However, Sally isn’t the only important woman in Coach Kiffin’s life.
His ex wife Layla Reaves is a UF alumni.

IDGAF if you don't think I do, but I do. And it's not like I am saying something so outlandish ... hell, it's all over social.

They are grown up .... think they are OM, at least one of them.

If Florida is going to fire the guy, wouldn't today be better than tomorrow

They have to put a notice about the meeting they are having tomorrow apparently. Just talked to my cousin who works in the university system. They may have an informal meeting/boosters /alumni kinda thing but they have to formally announce an official meeting apparently. So he maybe fired tomorrow officially

Well, the next question is: Who do they go after?
Personally, I like looking at some of the Big 12 guys, like Kleiman and Leipold. The only question on them is can they recruit? Going to have to figure that part out in the interview process. I had heard Napier is a mess. Solid ball coach, but lacks the organizational skills to run a big program.
