Had a good weekend. Soccer games Saturday. Tank only ran off the field once. Ham's team lost both games, couldn't find the net. Saturday night, went to a MiLB game for free. Got some free hats, kids got to go on the field, saw fireworks after.

Yesterday I smoked a pork shoulder and goofed around in the back yard with Tank.

Looks like we'll be getting some needed rain later this week, hopefully it does come and it stays on Wednesday/Thursday since that doesn't impact our outdoor activities.

Friday IN HS teams went 3-3 with alma mater having 1 of 3 Ws. OH HS teams went 0-4.
Saturday Bucks team held on the last play by mere inches to win & not tie. Michigan looked awful in a win.
Sunday 49ers got exposed by the Vikings. Not a great football season but it could be worse.

Pretty good weekend

Friday - Watched my God Son play a night baseball game.. His team sucks and I want to knock out his coach but it was fun
Saturday - Went to NH to see my nephew play his HS Varsity Soccer match and then back to back softball games for me niece
Sunday - Spent way too much grocery shopping
 
morning all. Vikings on top of NFCN as expected

ended up playing in lawn bowling tournament, we ended up 3rd place (8 teams)

I didn't play particularly well, but oh well, was decent time. Then had dinner with my dad, sister, and her husband

Yesterday watched vikings and got some stuff down around the house

Definitely a Monday. Buck home sick as he was puking. Luckily I drive to my parents to get Dodger & Grand on the bus. Mom's truck needed jumped. That put Lil W & I later to school & got home to clock in just in time.

My daughter recently turned 21. ...That checkpoint comes with its own level of parental apprehension, but I darn sure am glad 16 is in the rear view mirror. I'll take checkpoint 21 over checkpoint 16 100% of the time.

I have a year and a half until she's 18. Right now, juggling where she's supposed to be versus where she actually is and what boy she may or may not be dating.
 
Big Kiddo team won 34-0. In pregame I was thinking it would be a lot closer based on the size of the other team but overall from top to bottom we had the better squad and I think we might have the best staff in the whole league. Yes, they watch tape w the team. 😉

Middle kiddo won game 1 in flag 42-14. They won the league last season and returned almost every kid so they might do it again.

Michigan looks like a 4 loss team,

Lions with a real heartbreaker. Next week at AZ looks scary.

At 21, my daughter has different boyfriends in different parts of the country (WI - where her "formal" boyfriend goes to college & GA - where she and her "informal" boyfriend goes to college) and both boyfriends know about the other one and have met each other. I try not to get involved or ask too many questions because I probably do not want to know honest answers (which I probably wouldn't get from her anyway).

She has the "find my phone" app installed & active on her phone as a "terms of service" requirement for my wife paying for her phone on my wife's "family plan" so my wife and I can see her location at all times. That has greatly aided in parental knowledge of "where she is vs. where she's supposed to be" and has also been very beneficial in "emergencies" and "faulty communications". (When your distraught 17-year-old daughter leaves late evening without telling you and proceeds to drive by herself clear across the state, that "find my phone" feature pays dividends.)

Yeah, about that....did you know that they can "pause" Life360 so it appears they are somewhere when they are not?
