Never heard of em. Been to two concerts this year. Zach Bryan was awesome, Allison Kraus with Robert Plant was great, Willie Nelson’s son Lukas filling in for a sick Willie Nelson and Derek Trucks taking over Lukas’s normal spot in the band was amazing. Bob Dylan needs to retire
 
They have cancelled the remainder of the tour. Probably don’t expect to ever see Jane’s Addiction again.

Sad times.

From what I could tell, it sounds like Perry’s voice was mostly shot. Probably not a bad idea to hang ‘em up regardless.

Yeah. I saw them a year or two ago with Smashing Pumpkins, and will say though, in that battle of the over the hill bands they pretty much blew the pumpkins out of the water. Remember leaving that show thinking damn, Corgan’s voice is really shot…

Lengthy tours at that age are just bound to catch up with you I guess.

I can't even remember how many times I've seen Primus. Them and the Melvins are the two bands I have seen countless times.

Willie Nelson is 91 years old, tours constantly and has for decades and still sounds pretty good. God damn candy asses can’t handle a little hard living

Billy Corgan never had a good voice to begin with. I imagine at his age now it’s like cats in a blender.

Nah, Stephen Perkins is the only member who doesn’t seem to wear the douchebag hat and play a role in their dysfunction. Dave gets annoyed with Eric, Eric constantly wants to move onto other things but never does. Both seem to get into it with Perry. Perry is Perry. A weirdo with an ego who is likable as a fan, but probably not so much if you’re with him every day. The dynamic has been there from the start.

It sucks, they’re a phenomenal band, one of my personal favorites of all time, and every member of the original lineup is pretty essential for the Jane’s Addiction magic. But for longevity sake, they’d probably have a better chance if they just stuck with Chris Cheney and didn’t bring Eric back whenever he decides he wants to.
