Someone call Mrs. Chaney

I know Young isn’t in the best situation to succeed, but FTR, I said he was gonna be a bust while everyone was sucking his dick while he was the Alabama QB

Not sure if you can call Young the biggest bust of all time strictly by stats, but when you consider what the Panthers gave up for him...

And it was all so predictable. He was the first multiple year starter at QB under Saban at Bama to not win a natty, and his receivers helped cover up a lot of his shortcomings.

Also everyone called Stetson Bennett a midget while Young looked shorter in pictures, and then was confirmed shorter at the combine

So given this data

- 1 out of every 26 QBs drafted first overall wins a Super Bowl by getting drafted into a deep budding dynasty courtesy of the Minnesota Vikings mismanagement.

- 1 out of every 26 QBs drafted first overall wins a Super Bowl by starting at traditional "1st overall ground zero".

- 3 out of every 26 QBs drafted first overall eventually wins a Super Bowl as a starting QB with a team that didn't draft them.

- 6 out of every 26 QBs drafted first overall never even makes a meaningless "Pro Bowl" that good QBs don't want to play in.

I saw someone post they would rather have JaMarcus Russell under center.

Elway's situation was screwed up at the draft he should be in blue with an *

Basically this guy is another Mitch Trubisky. He's not Russell because he at least is trying even if he's bad. Russell just didn't care.

The Colts drafted him. Elway's career could've taken a completely different trajectory if he would've stayed with the Colts. No blue + asterisk, he won a SB with a different team - those are the facts.

...And even that took til the very end of his career to happen.

Pft. Denver drafted 4th. If you wanna play that game, then Elway is disqualified from being the first overall pick. So is Eli.
