Can’t wait to hear what actually happened. The team has looked legit early in the year. Did unlv wrong him or did he try to leverage for more money in the middle of the season? This is extremely interesting.

Just sue the NIL collectives if they're in violation of a written contract. Surely there were written contracts. :headscratch:

In many cases, just the threat of that going public would be better off if the defendant settled out of court with NDA's.

Could be some verbal promises made that aren't being kept. If so then he learned a valuable lesson to get stuff in writing.

It’s hooker volume.

No other reason to play in Vegas in the first place, unless you’re a lounge singer.

This is gonna get good! Wonder what kind of promises were made and not kept, and WHEN those promises were made. If they aren't in writing there might be a really good reason they aren't in writing.

This is exactly why schools should stay the fuck out of NIL. It should have always been an eat what you kill system to allow players to monetize their own name image and likeness. But schools making various financial “commitments”through collectives leads to crap like this, whether it’s schools over promising and under delivering or players trying to renegotiate under threat of finding a better deal.

This is unsustainable and if it becomes more widespread will make the game unwatchable.

Whoa. Starting QB on an undefeated team that’s beaten two P4’s on the road with a chance to beat another P4. Playoff candidate on the way up with a lot of talent and potential and he’s walking away midseason. Crazy.

I don’t know who this guy is, but it wouldn’t surprise me

this is some BS man.. I ain't buying that his family hired an agent to squeeze more money out of UNLV..

their NIL/Booster/Collective probably gave assurances that have yet to be met.. Jordan Addison had the same issues at SC, but decided to continue with the season knowing he was going to the NFL

This guy isn't going to the NFL.. Give him what was agreed to

What should happen is this kid gets blackballed by other schools and never plays a down of college football again. What will happen is someone will pay him what he wants and we will officially be in a pay fo play world.

It’s a big loss. He’s a hell of a player. Great athlete who can really run.

It’s he said/she said at this point

I don’t trust a player that would abandon teammates on an undefeated team midway through the season

I’m calling BS on that too.
