It is supposed to flex out, not in. Not sure yours could work.I gotta flex pipe for ya
What I was hoping for when I looked
No but I did check the muffler bearings.did you check the blinker fluid ??
Shit is expensive.Cost for both was $500.
Better to do both while he is under there than take more time going back and having him do it when that other goes.It was a flex pipe. 2 spots I had to replace. One was the culprit but I had another about to go. He said the salt in gets in grooves and away it goes.
Cost for both was $500. If I would have done just the one it would have been $275, which is what I had figured. The fiver sucked....but better do it now.
Luckily on older cars the repro kits are bent almost so perfectly that you can do those yourself. Haven't tried to do an install on anything newer with O2 sensors and cats and all that. But for the mustang a kit with headers, x-pipe, hangars, flowmasters, and tips was around $1k and I could install myself.Shit is expensive.
The first dual exhaust system I had installed in a car cost me $75
This was a muffler shop in 1976Luckily on older cars the repro kits are bent almost so perfectly that you can do those yourself.
My thoughts. She so quite nowBetter to do both while he is under there than take more time going back and having him do it when that other goes.
