GAME The Every Game Thread

Boise might have a safety here. They're reviewing it now.

If you don't take his legs, he's not going down. He's awesome in this game...wow

He's like a bowling ball but with wiggle. Who says that the Heisman is an award for QBs?

He seems like a great person as well.

No review, refs ruled forward progress. Not a good call as Mateer bobbled the ball and when he got control he basically landed in the end zone.

Whatever, Boise ball at about mid field

So not a safety there? Moron refs.

We get another look soon.

I'm in a fantasy league where we get to stash one college kid and right now I sure feel like I hit the fucking jackpot with him.

Jeanty with another TD...WSU losing their cool with 2 unsportsmanlike conduct penalties in the red zone on D.

38-17 with 9:38 left in the game

You hate to see it.

WSU converts on 4th and 10 from their own 25...big play down to Boise 30.... 8:30 left

Yeah. Totally is. Comes from a military family. Loyal dude. Completely selfless. Hope he makes a boatload in the league.

When you get to the level where literally everyone is talented makeup is so so important. I mean, when you think of all of the character-related reasons that a draft pick can fail it's really nice to basically be able to erase them all from your list of fears and concerns. He'll be drafted higher for that reason as well, owners generally don't like taking risks with high picks and big money.

4th and 10 at Boise 30, Mateer is sacked for a loss of about 15 or so...Boise takes over...just over 8 minutes left

Jeanty stopped for no gain on 3rd and 1...Boise punting with 4:25 left...maybe punting. time out...we'll get a decision shortly

Boise went for it on 4th and 1...WSU sold out on the run and they rolled out, throw to the TE for a walk in TD...45-17 with 4:15 left.

This game is pretty much over...but can somebody explain to me why OC's call in plays and make the WRs change the side of the field they're on when time is important? It seems to me that you can run plays with guys on the side of the field they're on that should work if executed...especially when it's 2nd and 6 or whatever. Those 10 seconds are probably more important that your "perfect" play call. Maybe I'm wrong, but that drives me nuts.

Mateer is going to need DeSean Watson's number after this game. I'm sure he knows some good massage therapists in the Paloose, right? A good chiro probably wouldn't hurt either.
