GAME Oklahoma vs Auburn

Yes. To use Bowden’s words “1st you lose big. Then you lose by a little. Then you win by little. Then you win big.”.

Auburn has 2 losses, where the dominated their opponent everywhere but the scoreboard. They will learn to win those games. It was a flukey loss. It will get better
IMHO it is flukier that we were in the game ... never could have guessed the injury novella OU was bringing. Were OU remotely healthy, we would have been shrimp slapped.

Auburn put up almost 500 yards of offense. Missed 2 FGs and had a pick 6. This was Auburn finding ways to lose

I guess the booster my friend was speaking with are stupid then. Who knew Auburn would have stupid boosters. I guess it runs in the state. Bama's used to get Bama in trouble trying to buy players in an age you weren't supposed to do that. Now you can buy players off a waiver wire of sorts. Aint this new college/pro football great
I just have an issue with people that can't pass the marshmallow test, especially when their spoiled asses have not a clue about building anything correctly. Ole Yellerwood needs to shut up and let those that have played/coached do their jobs.

We have subpar talent and zero depth. Even so, we still got 500 yards and it will get better each recruiting class.

Kind of my point. Right now Auburn doesn’t know how to win. No lead is safe. They will get better. Texas was like that 3-4 years ago

I don't think that it is that we don't know how to win as much as we don't have the talent to do so. We are too talent poor for that to matter to compete against a quality opponent for four quarters. Learning how to win comes later.

My friend says he is the biggest issue Auburn has. He has more money than God and he loves to throw it around like he is one. My dad ran into him one day down in Dothan and walked up and spoke to him, and he acted as if he was too good to talk to a commoner.

I agree and it showed when they would give Gus an extension and put him on the hot seat on the same day. He undercut Harsin from day one as well. TBH Saban's greatest achievement was putting the REC in its place before he accepted the job. Without that, Bama would have gotten the death penalty in about year three of his tenure.

Saban ruled with an iron fist for sure. He still does to a lesser degree. He is still a force in Tuscaloosa, and it shows when he is brought in to seal the deal with big name recruits. I read an article that a guy wrote that said this used to be Saban's team, but Saturday night it became Deboers team. Not sure I buy into that 100%, but he went a long way towards sending a signal that he can coach when the chips are down. I just wish they could have made some adjustments and not allowed it to come to a late drive for the win.

So…they’re like a Nebraska of the South?
