Kirby should be very very thankful Jameson Williams and John Metchie knees blew out. Other wise 0-7 vs Bama. They couldn’t cover either of them.
 
Crazy to think that these two COULD possibly play two more times this year, welcome to CFB 2024.

Thought I highly doubt it happens as Tennessee is gonna flatten both these bums.

Years ago, my wife and I sat in the Michigan State section of a bowl game between them and Bama. We were the only ones in Bama gear in a sea of green. The young State fans behind us heaped unwanted commentary upon us

... until they left, along with most MSU fans sometime in the 3rd Quarter.

Nick Sheridan fucking sucks. Georgia adjusted to stop our edge run game so that should have opened up the inside running game for us but we never even tried to feed our RBs and take advantage.

Well, it's a good thing no one is saying that. It's not better than winning, but it sure is better than getting blown out. When you fall behind 28-0 in Tuscaloosa and take the lead with 2 minutes to go, that's a hell of an accomplishment from a practical perspective. You have to understand that if you know anything about sports. If Bama goes on and wins that game 54-7 or something like that, UGA's season is likely over. Sure, you want to win. But getting blown out versus staging one of the biggest comebacks in the program's history was a big deal for the team psyche, recruiting, etc. And, it will be huge when we play Bama again because they will remember the second half more than the first half.

I thought it was funny to call a loss a "Coach of the Year" moment

Good on Georgia for making the second half competitive. Would have been better to play all four quarters of the game.
