Week going by fast. Got my kid the most bad ass football cleats last night for the playoff run.
 
Wow just opened an email w the playoff schedule. Our first game is on the kiddos bday and we are hosting an entire side of the first round (so all day) including our own game.

Huge having a home game for R1.

Still sick and trying to knock it out before I return to work on Thursday.
 
Been an odd football year for me so far. Youth finishing up & all the challenges with that, yet still successful. High school alma mater lost the opening game (only 2nd regular season loss in 4 years) & looked bad only to correct it & haven't lost since for a 4th straight conference 'ship. Then our 8th grade won conference after going winless in 7th grade. They were probably the 2nd worst youth grade I have ever seen with the current 9th graders the worst. On the OH side the 4 schools started near the top in points to make the playoffs after first 3 weeks. Now none are currently in a playoff position. We have all witnessed Michigan's & 49ers' struggles this year.

The Raiders have a beast in Bowers who will be the #1 option (even if he's a TE), Meyers is a solid #2 receiver....I want to see these promising youngsters in Tre Tucker and DJ Turner. They have shown some flashes.....Let's see what they got.

I'm more pissed at McDumbass for trading for Adams and then releasing Carr.....Antonio Pierce has some blame in this since he liked some stupid Tweet, effectively pissing off his best player. After the 5-4 run to end last season, he is showing he may be overmatched as a HC and more of a DC. If we win 5-7 games, fire him and go after Vrabel or even Carroll.
 
If they trade Crosby for a haul I will be supremely pissed.

Your damn Lions look like a juggernaut in the NFC with Dallas looking like shit and SF missing guys. Philly struggling but Tampa, Atlanta and Minny might have something to say about how the NFC shakes out in the playoffs.

I’m not expecting it, but you never know what Mark Davis is thinking.

I’d imagine if he were to become available, the Lions would have to give up quite a bit to not only get him, but outbid other teams.
 
@DJ Fieri if the price is right they'd trade him... No?

Mark Davis did say something along the lines of.... "We traded Adams for Brady"

Still way early. Lions vs Vikings, Pack vs Texans and Bears vs Skins this week will start separating some of these teams from each other.

I’m really interested to see how the Lions look vs Minny and vice versa.
 
Tough night for the Tribe last night. Was really hoping they could steal at least one game in NY. Mrs. Chicken is going to the game in Cleveland tomorrow

They might have left it all out there vs the Tigers. Tough series so that to you sometimes.

Hope they turn it around. Bad enough I hate both teams in the NLCS. I'd like to have a team to root for in the WS.

Unlikely to happen, since there's 11 losses to hand out yet (only interdivision game so far was MIN/GB). Unless it's an even split or only one team is able to sweep, teams usually catch some extra L's because they have to play a really good team twice. Also, it looks like the South has two decent enough teams at a minimum to take advantage of how bad Carolina is. Probably 2 WCs from the North and the last comes out of the South.
