I am learning that...trying to cut back on my extracurriculars

sand volleyball might be the first to go...but lately, my time on the tennis court has been non-existent since all the men's USTA leagues fell apart.

I think golf is safe

I'm considering it. I did tell her I don't think it is a good idea for me to teach her though.

I even threw out the idea of pickleball...it hurt but I offered it.

I've heard two sides to that.

1 side: yes, have your wife learn to golf that way you two can golf together

2 side: don't be a fucking idiot. A golf course is a place you can go to get away from your wife

Send her to get a pedicure or some other 'self spoiling/beautification' thing she likes while you hit the course. That would create a better chance you both will be in a good mood when you meet up afterwards.

A friend of mine is an ER doc and he said it's insane the number of injuries they get due to pickleball.

His thought is that pickleball is a somewhat physical sport that is attracting a lot of out-of-shape, inactive people to play it.
