1 - Georgia (Sugar)
2 - Ohio State (Rose)
3 - Clemson (Peach)
4 - BYU (Fiesta)
5 - Oregon
6 - Texas
7 - Penn State
8 - Tennessee
9 - Miami
10 - Notre Dame
11 - Texas A&M
12 - Boise State

Boise State @ Oregon
Texas A&M @ Texas
Notre Dame @ Penn State
Miami @ Tennessee

A few shakeups. LSU losing to A&M puts A&M in, but it's tough to see the CFP committee putting a non-champ A&M over Notre Dame, so they are slotted in at 11. Committee doesn't look at avoiding matchups when seeding, so we've ended up with 2 rematches in the 1st round.

Miami looked pretty good, so it's tough to see them dropping too much if their only loss is to Clemson. BYU takes the sacrificial lamb spot offered up by the BigXII with a convincing win.

Plenty of upsets abound as we enter November!

1. Oregon (Rose Bowl)
2. UGA (Sugar Bowl)
3. BYU (Fiesta Bowl)
4. Clemson (Peach Bowl)
5. Penn State
6. Notre Dame
7. Texas A&M
8. Miami
9. Tennessee
10. Ohio State
11. Iowa State
12. Boise State

Projected championship games:

UGA(11-1) vs. Texas A&M(11-1)
Oregon(12-0) vs. Penn State(12-0)
BYU(12-0) vs. Iowa State(12-0)
Miami(12-0) vs. Clemson(11-1)

#12 Boise State @ #5 Penn State
#11 Iowa State @ #6 Notre Dame
#10 Ohio State @ #7 Texas A&M
#9 Tennessee @ #8 Miami

These unbalanced schedules really leave a bunch of at large teams with little to no ranked wins.

I'm looking forward to how the committee deals with it if that happens. The B1G/SEC commissioners have been emphatic about schedule. But I wonder how that will feel if it happens to benefit their teams.

Impetus needs to be "schedule good teams ooc"

What’s funny is last week ESPN wouldn’t shut the fuck up about their playoff analytics saying ND’s chances of making the playoffs with a win over GA Tech at 63%. It was repeated ad nauseum during the broadcast.

At the start of the Navy game this week, they said they have a 58% chance with a win over Navy.

So they won last week and its odds went down with a win over a better team this week?

Notre Dame isn't the only team playing.

Byu, isu, Miami keep winning despite not appearing to be great teams
