I believe this is the first time I’ve ever drafted Honus Wagner. Not sure about Gwynn either.

Prior to doing these drafts all I knew about Wagner was that his baseball card was worth $$$$

My dad and I were big into collecting cards at one point. Not really baseball but heavy basketball and Magic the gathering. Lmao

Not bad for a guy not considered the GOAT. I think the Bambino's card is like third most valuable, Mickey is second.

I collected baseball cards all growing up, also some basketball and Pokemon went that was big. Got a ton of rookie cards, not sure how valuable they are now but I had binders full of cards.
 
Wonder how much my Kenny Lofton rookie card is worth...I got it autographed too. $10M? LOL

Back in the day I did some speculation in the Card market. I bought unopened boxes and either flipped them or sorted them looking for gems. My best was a lot of 10 boxes I bought and sorted. Found 10 Mark McGwire rookie cards which I sold for more than I paid for the entire lot.

Yeah I remember opening up a Topps pack once with a McGwire "rookie card", thought it was at the time but it was a reprint. It was pic of him on the Olympic team lol. But I do have another McGwire rookie card

Funny thing is the Reprint is probably worth a couple bucks. Just looked up the original and it was selling for $800-$1,600

Pretty sure my dad has a Mint 9 Barry Bonds rookie card lying around somewhere. We also started collecting basketball cards around the early 90's. Come to think of it I might have a Kobe rookie card somewhere as well. Going to start looking into finding all that stuff again.
