Sorry dude. Subway got demoted to, “only if I was truly desperate and it was an airport” several years ago. The reason JimmyJohns, Jersey Mike’s, Firehouse and others exist today, is because of people who wanted a halfway decent sub.

Firehouse is usually solid but I gotta be honest, the whipper snappers have figured it out imo. My son and his bro’s been getting sandwich videos/recipes online and making them at home and holey smokes they destroy anything you’ll find in a fast food chain imo.

Tried several of this snarky lil dudes recipes and have enjoyed em all.

Used his Carne Asada steak marinade on grilled chicken tenders and it makes the wife drag me to the bedroom….:yield:

Found a good multigrain bread and I make a damn tasty sammy.

Hardly ever get a sub out anymore....
 
We have a Penn Station but I am told it’s too expensive for what it is. Mr. Good Cents>Subway

I rather use my Black Stone and make my own Philly sandwiches.

Yea we had one locally here too for awhile but people gave up on it. It was good but just too expensive for a sub sammich. Same thing with 5 guys, delicious burger and I don’t mind paying a little more for good quality but come on man…

Stick to turkey when you get subway. It's the only sandwich where you wont feel gross from the inside out after eating it. Just turkey, lettuce, tomato and a little mayo.
