Just curious. I have been to about 40 games, lots of different teams, quite a few different stadiums. However, never been to a bowl game. Which bowl games have you been to?

Best Bowl Game by a mile! Well, except for the Rose.Only been to the Sun Bowl. But I went to every one of them from 1980-2007.
My first bowl game was the Orange Bowl after the '83 season...still hurts a little, a grew up a Nebraska fan. What are bowl games ?

Proximity helps, I've lived in Birmingham, Jacksonville, Atlanta, Los Angeles and Tampa, plus a few places without bowls, all but a few National Championships are from being local.Only been to the Sun Bowl. But I went to every one of them from 1980-2007.
I think the Sun Bowl is the 2nd oldest behind the Rose Bowl.Best Bowl Game by a mile! Well, except for the Rose.![]()
It is!I think the Sun Bowl is the 2nd oldest behind the Rose Bowl.
I doubt it will be. The Arizona schools, Colorado, Utah, BYU, Texas Tech, Baylor and TCU would vote against it because they consider it a "meh" trip for them. I'm not sure where the Sun ranks in payouts. If it is high enough, that might change their minds. Money rules CFP now.It is!I sure wish the Big XII could be affiliated with the Sun Bowl again.
Argh! I never have understood the Pac disdain for the fabulous Sun Bowl. Sheesh, Alabama is a perfect 3-0 there, and you went to all three games! 1983 vs. SMU, 1986 vs. Washington and 1988 vs. Army. Good enough for the All-Time Bowl King, so what is not to love! If Alabama or Iowa State ever go again, I would try to make the trip.I doubt it will be.
