GAME #1 OREGON DUCKS vs wisconsin badgers 7:30pm ET on NBC

Well, that didn't work.

I have been a Packers fan since '61 and a Badger fan since '69.

Packers fan since I can remember and Badgers since about 78 or so. I'll be 60 soon, so a little younger than you...not much

I mean is it? Ive seen a couple #1s lose games so....

I kind of figured that out, unless you were a fan before you were conscious.
I started school at Wisconsin in the fall of '69. Ray Scott on Sunday afternoons were a staple through the 60s.

I went there after 2 years at Washington County in 85. As a bonus, my high school is in the state title game

Alabama 42 @ Wisconsin 10 - I was there in person!

Oregon 13 @ Wisconsin 10 - Watched that shit on TV.

Transitive Property and shit.

Lord have mercy, I hope Alabama can hang with the mighty Ducks in the CFP.

:)

Could be! Not sure if Alabama wants any part of Oregon though.
Whatever you do, don't throw the Tide in that briar patch! :)

Hey I’m impressed you two old farts are able to open a computer and get onto the internet

I work with a lot of seniors and they can’t even open up Google

Oregon struggles for the first time since September and all the Husky fans show up. Sorry for the disappointing result last night. We'll see you in 2 weeks.

I was exposed to a computer in high school. It was extremely basic and the only thing they wanted to teach us was programming, it was awful if/then and not my thing. If you are or were in a professional field, once the late 90's early 2000's rolled around you pretty much had to figure it out. I will state the one useful class I did take in high school that I only took because I knew it would be mostly girls and the teacher was a solid 8 with a 10 for a body was typing. I didn't think I'd ever use it, but ulterior motives paid out later in life. Lastly, 60 is not old...in fact I won't be 60 for another few weeks.

Hell, I wouldn't even take the 13.5 points the bookie was giving. I took the over  figuring Oregon might score that by themselves. At least the defense looked familiar.

I took the 13.5. My numbers said the spread should have been around 10. I also looked at the spot. Oregon playing their 8th straight conference, Wisconsin coming off a bye, and factoring in the travel/crowd. I identified this as the trap game very early in the season just based on that. Wisconsin's defense deserves a lot of credit. They played very well.

I'm just glad we got rid of dial-up. Too old to wait that long.

Honestly didn't really start using internet until about 2000. Even then it was via work and they had the most ridiculous fire wall. Couldn't get to ESPN and if you searched something in Google about 9 out of 10 times it was blocked.
