Take a hike Monday

After second glance they added $25 because it is a second notice? WTF? I will probably break down and pay it but the assholes are charging me $175

No sense in risking it for sure... Because in the end they will always win.

Well damn.... Took them long enough to send it to you

Speaking of which, crap... I gotta take care of my Emissions testing for my car.. Got that in the mail a few weeks ago

The world is really just one big HOA.

I have always wanted to get uo to THE UP. I hear they have some great adventure motorcycling areas up there and some good dirt biking as well
There’s a ton of that in north west Michigan as well. The whole Manistee area is chock full of 4wheel and snow machine trials.

I got a speeding ticket in the mail. Apparently in August I was tagged by a speed camera. I thought those were illegal? But this is from August and I am just now receiving it? Fuck that noise
From Ohio? I was pretty sure they did away with those here too.

Mrs Redfoot once received three tickets from the same camera. They were sending the tickets to the leasing company we had her car through and by the time they forwarded the first ticket to us, she'd already been caught twice more. That sucked.

Yup Willoughby Hills on 271. Mrs Chicken is going to filet me!

Hiking Lost Dog Trail later today

Scottsdale is a beautiful 61 degrees and sunny right now

Went 2 and 1 in our first tournament. Once again ran into a team with 160 pound "3rd graders"

This week we head for Gatlinburg for that tournament. Making a week of jt

Grand got in trouble on the bus. Evidently an older girl flipped him off & he returned the favor.

Well that's interesting. What does he have to do now?

That sounds like one of those delicate situations where you need to establish a proper balance of correcting his behavior and supporting his necessity of defending himself at the same time.

I ended up doing some research on this. In Ohio speed cameras by themselves are not legal for issuing citations. They must have an officer present with the camera. I have seen a couple of unmarked cars parked underneath overpasses on that stretch so I am assuming that is where they are.

Part of me wants to be a dick about it and challenge whether there was an officer present but that is going to involve me having to show up for court. I think what I am going to challenge is the additional $25.00 they tacked onto the fine because they claim it is a second notice. I am pretty sure had they sent it earlier it would have grabbed my attention so I am going to write a dickish letter and enclose it with my check less the $25. At the end of the day, they get their money and I get some dick. We all win.

Timeless, it's always when you respond that it gets noticed. What kind of trouble are you talking about? Given that kids are hitting THC vapes, throwing objects and being general little assholes on a moving vehicle, flipping the bird doesn't seem like that should be a big deal. I think a nice verbal warning and move on.

There is a great place outside of Phoenix that is a pretty challenging hike. I cannot remember the name, but certain points you are doing more rock climbing then hiking but the view at the top is worth it.

That sounds like Flatiron but there are a ton of trails in the area

Toughest one I've done is two hours north in Flagstaff. Humphreys Peak 9 miles 3300 elev gain and ends at an elevation of 12,633. Best hike ive ever done!

Yeah I told him it's ok to stick up for yourself & family/friends but do it in a way to avoid trouble. Since he broke a school rule I gave him a spanking. Not a harsh one but one to get his attention.

Driver told him not to ever do it again. That's it so far on that end.
