Football Friday

morning all.

Going to gopher game tomorrow, could by my last game as a season ticket holder, not sure I'll renew next year

Big HS games tonight on both sides of the line. In Indiana the HS alma mater & Southern county rivals go on the road as big underdogs as they try to punch their ticket to state. In Ohio 3 teams looking for a shot at the semis. 2 are favored, but play conference foes that will test them more than anyone remaining. The other plays the conference champ of stepkids' school's conference & are underdogs.

Also Dodger's basketball team can be the 2nd worst team. They beat the worst team after trailing most of the game. 1st win ever for those girls on 17-14 victory.

There was a basketball game at my kids elementary school last year with the final score of 4-0.

in the spirit of the thread, I think this is such a dumb practice by the league. if you want to switch a 1300 or 1600 game to prime time that same day, fine. but to go from a Sunday to a Thursday like people don't make travel plans to attend some games, is terrible.

I was fully expecting something like that. Though 17-14 for middle school is equivalent. I missed in person but was getting updates & videos at wrestling practice.
