CFP Rankings

Because Texas *might stomp their ass instead of playing a first half of a game that rendered our team unrecognizable… while UGA played nine levels higher than it has in any game all season

Or Texas looks like a fraud in front of a hostile crowd

Okay, here's what we do:

the biggity conferences move to a divisional format where there are four teams per div.

You play all your division mates every year, plus two teams each from the other three divisions.

All four division winners play a mini-tournament to decide the conference champ.

The playoffs goes down to 8 teams, mostly winners of their conferences with some at-large.
Yeah, let’s just forgo billions of dollars. They will go to 16 we’ll before any thought is given to 8.

I stand corrected. Thanks.

You playing like shit has nothing to do with UGA just kicking your ass. You didn’t lose, you got beat.

Carson Beck barely complete 50% of his passes and threw 3 picks and Texas still lost by 15. You are getting beat in every other area badly when the opposing QB plays that bad and you still lose by 2 scores.

and the Texas offense gave it up on their side of the field over and over.. Carson had turnovers to but benifetted on having them on Texas side of the field

I told you you'd become Arkansas Lite with your move to the SEC. Oklahoma's fault they decide to follow Texas around like a battered obedient dog.

Grow a pair and depart from your big brother Texas.
you know, they tried to go to the PAC after Texas was told it couldn't with the LHN in tow... But Scott passed on them since Texas wouldn't come along

BiG didn't want them either....without TEXAS

:)
I mean the thing is I think Texas is a decent team. How good? We don't know. If they lose to A&M and Georgia again are they still in the playoffs?
if Texas doesn't beat aggy they wouldn't be in the CCG in Atlanta..

but still a lock for the CFP :)

You missed the part where the conference championships are 4-team affairs. It actually expands the field.

Lol @ billions of dollars.

Another mistake by this old man. Yes, you are correct...Clem, Texas and Tennessee. Seems you guys like to beat up on teams with the color orange. Throw in Florida and that's 25% of your opponents that wear orange....if you consider "burnt" and "creamsicle" both orange. You guys should schedule 12 teams that have orange as a color.

That was showdown of bad QB play. Quinn Ewers won that. He managed to be worse. Neither offense wants that tape getting out. 285 yards for Georgia and 259 for Texas

Ok but that still doesn't mean someone can say "Georgia played their best by far." They didn't.

Best game Georgia has played that I've seen was the Tennessee game. That Georgia is scary. Probably Clemson too but I wasn't able to watch that one

That was the best their defense played. Tip the hat to the players and Kirby had a nice game plan. Georgia is just another of a handful of teams that are completely capable of beating anyone on a given night and also capable of a first round playoff loss. Texas is in that group. Welcome to 2024.

Yep. In the past I've heard many that watched games like that one claim "great defenses". (Remember the 2011 Bama/LSU 9-6 OT scoring fest?) They see what they want to see because if they watched the Texas-Georgia game, they are either blind or will always believe what they want to believe.

Not a whole game but the 2nd half of their Bama game was very impressive.

That dipshit acts as if he receives a dividend from the college football playoff association
