You didn't have a QB who could push the ball downfield. Howard being "mobile" is great, but guess what Michigan's strength is? Their front 7.

Tough to blame it all on Day, when Chip Kelly is your play caller. I will say it again though -- If you had McCord, you guys win by 2+ touchdowns today, if not more.

He looked lost before that hit. He gave Michigan our only TD with his 1st INT.

Day has said he had veto power on the play calling. This game is classic Day turtling well it’s a worse turtle than the last 3 years

Another point. Day didn’t even try to bring in a competent kicker he looked at the dudes we had and said “this works” the game should not had been close but we eek out a W with a kicker who doesn’t shank <40 yard FGs
 
did any of the michigan players get peppered sprayed?
looked like after the after game scrum. That a few players were having problems with their eyes.

Anyone have any info on any of this?

An entire season saved in one game. It's amazing.

And they blamed Stallions.

The best part is now they really have to come to terms with reality. Oh, and we got the #1 QB coming in next year.

I suddenly can't wait for next years Michigan/Ohio State game. That fight at the end made for great entertainment and build up.
