Kraven is one of the best Spiderman storylines so I expect this to be good

It needs to be told within a Spiderman movie though. Sony is milking the spidey-verse a little too hard. Evidently, they are developing a Madam Web movie as well.

I didn't watch Morbius but it didn't look great...

they are trying to do like they did with Venom, I guess...but I think Venom is actually making his way into the Spiderman movies soon....I think

Spiderman is all Sony has so they are milking it for everything they can but they aren't considering if they should.

I haven't watched Morbius either but the reviews were simply brutal. I just don't have high hopes for this one Kraven is great as a villain but I don't think anyone has ever tried to do a solo storyline on him even in the comics and they are doing a two-hour movie?

the trailer felt a lot like the Morbius one, so I agree with you there

Delayed a year to Friday, August 30, 2024 by actors strike (movie production is already done, but the studio wants the actors to be available for a press tour).

It's DC universe, so I figure I'll wait until they have the 4th remake of the same story with the 4th different actor. Should have the storyline figured out by then.

it's not DC...says Marvel right there in the bottom left of the poster...

Damn I was getting excited about Spiderman joining the Justice League.

Just what's needed, another shitty Marvel movie.

it feels like the new Deadpool is injecting some new life into the universe...

Personally, I think it's counterproductive and indicates desperation and a lack of faith in the movie to post this much of it to try to get people to go to the theater to watch it, but Sony has posted the first 8 minutes for viewing:

Looks bad. Oh well, it's not as though there hadn't already been bad Spider-man and bad Spider-man-adjacent stuff:

Amazing Spider-man 2
Spider-man: Across the Spider-verse
Madame Web
Morbius
Spider-man 3

The only thing I hated about Across the Spider-Verse was not knowing it was a part 1. Loved the different animation styles they went with.

I'll also standby Madame Web off the back of Dakota Johnson getting a card made from a little kid for saving their parent and looking to Adam Scott 'What the fuck am I supposed to do with this?' Like the disdain she had for the kid was so hilarious to me.
