Neal Brown

So, who tops the list?

Feel like he was given way too much time with nothing to show for it.

If your name is Brown, watch out!

I think they would have pulled the trigger last season but his buyout scared em off a bit
That plus they won the 9 games AND had a bunch coming back so expectations were pretty high. 6-6 this year, never got em ranked while he was there with a loss to Pitt when ya have a 10 point lead with 3 minutes to go….

Gotta go gotta go…

Nick Saban has been waiting for this opportunity his whole career.

@CoalTrain the more I think about it the more I think it’ll be Rod. I think there is a certain belief within the boosters (just my opinion) that he wouldn’t bounce again when a bigger program came calling. Plus his success would be major redemption and probably mend a whole hell of a lot with folks that haven’t forgiven him.

He’s done a good job at Jax State, and personally I think he’d be a lot of fun in the Big12 regardless of where he’d coach. The biggest obstacle imo is unity among the base.
When ya make a new hire the hope is that while you will never make everyone happy the move will charge up the vast majority of your fanbase and get everyone on board. Rodriquez would still rub a lot of the base the wrong way (silly imo, what happened happened) and if/when he struggles early on which is almost a given as it’s going to be a rebuild for whoever gets the gig, things could go south in a hurry as far as fan morale and haters just waiting to pounce.
Ideally he’d line up/ have a good working relationship with Baker and the new president but I have no idea what that situation is like.
End of the day, if the people who stroke the big checks want him, they’ll hire him.

Bring back Rich-Rod?

That would be a good move IMO.

Jimbo Fisher would be another good hire.
