GAME The Game: Michigan @ #2 The Ohio State | Noon EST on Fox

What conference has better defenses then? GT had 27 against UGA at the end of regulation which was more than what Duke, VT, FSU (LOL), and Louisville allowed them to score.

michigan fared no better against OSU than they did against Texas, and they only scored more against us because of a TD we gifted them at our 2 yard line.

Alabama? LOL 40 points and over 400 yards allowed against Vandy a team that couldn't even beat Georgia State.

Do we wanna talk about the Big 12? Any stud defenses in the ACC?

I bet he subscribes to the "SEC DEFENSIVE STATS ARENT GOOD ONLY BECAUSE ALL THE OFFENSES ARE SO ELITE!" line of thinking.

Michigan has 6 spots open in their recruiting class. Ty Haywood is coming to town this week for a visit. I think he will be the guy they try to get. He is a 5 star OL.

The other guys they are looking at are:
Derek Meadows
Bradley Gompers
Nathaniel Owusu-Boatang

Then a few hail mary's:
Isaiah Gibson
Jahkeem Stewart

I don't think there is a ton we will be able to do this late into recruiting this year. I will really be excited to see what they do next year.

They did just flip a top 125 guy from Clemson this weekend. We have the 7th ranked class with 6 spots left to fill. So we could legit have a top 5 class this year.

Meadows is going to Alabama.

Haywood would be a great coup but Gompers and Owusu-Boatang don't exactly move the needle much, they are decent enough prospects but not guys who are going to wow anyone when it comes to a flip.

I guess you could talk about Tennessee if you want, but the same logic would apply with Georgia as Oregon does with us.

Sounds good -- Ohio is the best defense. Can't wait to watch them shut down all these offenses in the CFP.

IU had 12 yards in the 2nd half against Michigan. Whoever draws them in the CFP is going to walk all over them.

I can't say anything about Penn State -- we didn't play them this year and I haven't got to watch them. I can say -- I'm not a fan of their QB, but maybe he has improved this year.

You haven't seen PSU play ONE time?! Lmao. Not that I held your opinions on anything in high regard, but now I know I can just stop altogether. Who the hell else haven't you watched this year. Lmao

He's joined the SEC SEC SEC! bandwagon too, I think at one point he even declared that it's a shame that the SEC wont be having half the playoff field.

I'd say compared to the immense amount of hype he came in with. michigan fans were acting like he was going to come in and start pumping out Andrew Lucks every year and take over the conference. Again, even without the OSU games his first 6 years, he didn't beat anyone worth a damn period.
But he did do that…..

I watched part of the Ohio game. There is no need to watch PSU. They are the same team every year and James Franklin cannot win the big games.........ever.

I think you are being narrow-minded. Okay, so for the last decade he does the same thing I grant you. They have never won a game vs. a top 10 ranked opponent. Okay I'll give you that.

But maybe, just maybe he is going to surprise us

@NewPhoneWhoDis correct me if i'm wrong but i'm pretty sure I recall you saying this
I said the SEC and B1G should have their own playoff. But this year is entertaining -- and it keeps many more fans bases involved.

Now I do think the SEC

I've never seen a team more content with being the 3rd or 4th best team in a conference in my life.

I will give it to them. They put out some freak athletes into the NFL.

I've never been a big SEC backer, but they are, by far, the best conference this year and it isn't even close.

Look how many teams who could be good in the B1G, who are trash this year? Michigan, USC, Washington, UCLA, Michigan State, etc. Oregon and Ohio are the only legit teams we have. PSU and Indiana have record because of their scheduling luck this year. PSU's best win is Illinois. Indiana's best win is........Michigan?

I want to argue for the B1G, but we are a train wreck this year and not because we have so many good teams and they keep beating each other. We just have a ton of teams who lost a ton of players to the draft and they are having down years.

I've watched a ton of games this year. I usually try to watch the teams who will have a chance to win the title and then Notre Dame, because my brother is a die hard fan.

I don't waste my time with Penn State unless they are playing Michigan or Ohio. James Franklin never changes. No clue how he still has the HC job at PSU.
