11 guys got drafted after 2016. 10 got drafted after 2019. Talent was never an issue. You can talk about JJ and Corum all you want but that's flatout ignoring Brandon Peters (4*, #3 QB in 2016), Dylan McCaffrey (4*, #6 QB in 2017), and eventually Shea Patterson (5*, #1 QB). That's also ignoring the plethora of 4/5* skill position players you guys got back then like DPJ, Nico Collins, Karon Higdon, Tarik Black, Zach Charbonnet, etc that were all there. Those years were below standard for any team that was pulling in talent at the level michigan was. 2016, 2017, 2019 were all elite classes.
Day hasn't regressed at all if you look at OSU in 2016-2018. Sure, it's regressed since the NC in 2014, but it was going that under Urban. 2019, 2020, and 2022 were all significantly better teams than the 2016-2018 OSU teams overall. Harbaugh took over for two straight duds at HC while Day took over for one of the best of all-time.
